If you want to use a large image on a forum that doesn't allow large images to be posted, here is your cure:
Instead of using the normal [img][/img] tags, you just need to tweak them a little:
[img width=000 height=000 src="LINK TO IMAGE"]
Just edit the zeros to your desired size, and it will resize the image
